Our house has been in a dinner rut lately and I have been having trouble coming up with new recipes to mix in with our favorites. So while combing through Pinterest, the idea hit me to make a BBQ Chicken Pizza. We enjoyed it so much, I wanted to share the recipe with y'all.
Ingredients:
2 boneless skinless chicken breast
2 small thin pizza crusts
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 medium sweet onion
Favorite BBQ sauce
Instructions:
1. Cook the chicken breast- I preheated the oven to 400, places the chicken breast in a ceramic dish and covered with BBQ sauce. Bake for 30-45 minutes.
2. Remove the chicken and cut into bite sized pieces
3. Cut the onion into desired size chunks.
4. Spread a thin layer of BBQ sauce onto pizza crust, layer on onions, chicken and cheese. Drizzle with mozzarella
5. Cook according to package of pizza crust. - Mine called for 8 minuets at 400
6. Remove and ENJOY!!
