I cannot tell you just how happy I am that fall is starting to make its appearance. It is a wonderful time of year. Summer starts to relinquish its smoldering hold on the world and Fall beings to breathe new life into everything around me. Each year, the beauty of Fall never ceases to amaze and inspire me.
As I start to get inspired to completely decorate for this fall, I love to look back at my decor from last year. Partially to help me remember what all I have and partly to inspire myself and what I can create it my home. Pinterest is a great source for inspiration, but those aren't my spaces. Being able to look at what I already created, inspires to what I can create!

This deer head, book paper wreath is one of my favorites from last fall.
This weekend, we had our first bonfire of the season. It was so much fun to sit in my rocking chair with a mason jar full of sweet tea and spend and evening with my family making memories. As we sat out there, KJR and I talked about the almost 4 years that we have had our house. We talked about how far it has come, how much its changed, and all the memories we have made.
Having a home, and not an apartment or a temporary space as a newlywed was more of a blessing than I could ever have imagined. Having one space that we didn't have to move from in a year or 2 allowed us that much more time to grow together in our space.
Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Psalms 127:1
Our home has become our sanctuary. It has become a quiet place where I have cried out to The Lord to give me my next steps, and to show me the plan he has for our family and our marriage. At this very table, The Lord impressed upon me the calling he has for me.
I cannot wait for the memories that will be made this Fall! We have hopes of putting in a large fire pit once the weather cools down some more. I hope that y'all are already enjoying this fall weather.
Have a blessed Fall week!
