I never thought I would miss summer break as much as I do, but just because I am a grown up that doesn't mean that I can't have a summer bucket list. However, it does mean that its a little different than it might have been a few years ago.
Here is what made my list this year:
- Start a garden
- Spend less time online, and more time outside
- Declutter and purge clutter from my home
- Add some landscaping to #OurMagnoliaHome
- Have more dinners around the dinner table than around the coffee table
I love Joanna Gaines' garden, it is most certainly an inspiration for my own, however I am not that ambitious quite yet. I am going to start with a little container garden and grow it from there. I am going to start with some herbs and them move to fruit and veggies.
Recently, it has occurred to me have much stuff I have, and how much stuff I never use. It disgusted me how much stuff I have accumulated that never gets used and that just sits around. So, I am starting to clean out and get rid of clothes, home decor and anything else in between. I want our home to be clean and a place where we can feel free and relax. I don't want our home to be overcome with clutter and unnecessary stuff.
I started off this morning by purging, and I have plenty of decor items that I need to get rid of!

Do you have a bucket list for this summer?
Oh my word! are those chevron items pots/vases? If so, I totally need those :P You should set up an instagram sale page for the items you purge! And I'm so glad I'm not the only one whose summer plans include weeding out and purging unneeded things!
