Coffee Bar.

Mornings can be so hectic, and some days it just seem like a race against the clock to get out the door as soon as possible. I am the first to admit that I sometimes struggle in the morning. It is hard to take time to stop and have a quiet moment to think and pray about the day ahead. Coffee is a morning essential for me, it helps me clear my head and of course get a boost of energy.

I don't like wasting time sitting in the drive though line at Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts waiting for that morning cup of coffee, so I made an at home coffee bar, complete with different kinds of coffee, flavored syrup and sweetener.

This table has been many things over the past few years, from a food buffet for friends and family to gather around to just sitting there with nothing on it! It become a place to gather around, and now it is a place to stop and breathe during the morning chaos.

Even though making a cup of coffee doesn't take a long time, it is nice to have these few moments to just stop. I have found myself daydreaming, or praying, or just having a moment of silence. Anything that helps you stop a misted the craziness of life, I encourage you to go with and create in your home! Maybe its a bench to sit down and put your shoes on, or a chalkboard that you write on each day before you leave the house!

Do you have an area of your home where you can stop and take a moment to breathe? If so, I would love to hear about it! If you don't, I encourage you to find even a small corner of your home that allows you to have a moment to rest!
