Officially An Alumni

Is it really over? That's really the only thing I can think about when I think about my college graduation. I have spent the last 5 years of my life working towards this an now it is over!

When I arrived on campus Friday morning, it still didn't feel real. Yes I was adorning my pink Lilly graduation cap and yes I was dressed in an over sized navy gown that was hot and itchy, but it still did not feel real. After I checked in, I proceeded to the hall where I was told to go and stopped when I saw a few friends. About 45 minuets later, they had us line up... well this caused me to be 5th in line for the whole college that I was graduating from. I was on the front row and the 5th student to walk into the arena.

See the pink bow, yup that is me... I guess it helped me stand out!

Hi Mom and Dad!

I did it!! Don't mind the guy behind me he was telling me to go, while I was busy trying to get a photo!

After graduation, everyone goes out to get their photo by the Osprey Fountain before you have to return your gown. Since I had to pay close to $40 to rent the gown and get the cap, I wore the cap to lunch and all the festivities the rest of the day! KJ was not amused, but I was too happy not to wear it!

Here is my little family!

My mama!

My daddy!

The husband, he is my Rock and my support system. There are many times over the last 5 years, and especially over the last 2 years that I have come close to quitting and not finishing school, but thanks to him I hung on and finished!

I did it, y'all! I really did it!! Even though there is currently no diploma in there I am anxiously awaiting my real one {in 5-7 weeks...}.

My husbands is literally like the paparazzi when he is behind the camera and takes about 20 photos when you really only need 4, but he did get some cute photos of my cap!

The pink bow was one of the best decisions I made, I would highly recommend it! Having the pink bow made it very easily for my family to find me in the sea of navy!

I felt it only appropriate to use the Lilly Pulitzer Florida print! I was going to add my monogram, but I am very glad that KJ talked me out of it!

Thank you guys for sharing a little piece of my special day, sorry it took so long to post! We have been without internet for 4 days! I hope y'all have a great Thursday!!
