Backpack vs Tote has always been the question of what to use for school!

I use both my North Face backpack and my Lilly Pulitzer tote!
If I have to take my laptop to school with me is usually when I use my backpack because it has a slot designated for a laptop. Usually these are days that I find myself hunkered down in the library studying my life away!
Mostly I use my tote, it is easy to throw my stuff into. It has a pocket for my pens and little items, and its big enough for about whatever you need to put into it!
What do you use? Are you partial to one or the other?
